"Are you ready to see yourself  through the eye of another person and realise how beautiful you truly are in a moment you least expect, are you comfortable in your own skin?" - Jacqueline's testimony  after seeing herself in I SEE YOU.

I SEE YOU is an honest collection of portraits of ordinary people that, hopefully, you want to get to know.

​

Taken between the years 2000 to 2017 from his travels through Europe and Australia, these powerful portraits are inspired by Juan Carlos's reflective and curious nature.

The photography AINA won the first prize in the Australian Center of Photography's 2016 Photostart Annual Competition. I SEE YOU was also Highly Commended in the Australian Photography Magazine's 2018 Photographer of the Year and in the Capture Magazine's 2019 Australasia's Top Emerging Photographers.
